about this site |
Today, the Vitruvian Man seems only rarely (if ever?) related to architecture in terms of actual buildings. However, the following two web design firms make use of his image to stress their focus on structure in their site designs.
Vitruvian Arts, "a web design company dedicated to infusing creative design with customized technology" stresses the importance of good architecture in its designs. Their stated goal is to "develop a solid architecture and plan that will allow you the utmost flexibility later on."

dotShop "is more than just another web development company." They consider themselves cyber architects, and hence take on the Vitruvian Man, and other images relating to both Leonardo and modern architecture.
